FactSmith Foundry was founded by Rebecca Webb, a former child abuse lawyer with over 20 years of practice in the court room. Also with a background in science, her work draws on her extensive experience and focuses on such things as:

• Legal Analysis and evidential reasoning

• Structured argument and risk assessment

• Evaluating conflicting accounts and incomplete information

• Ensuring all content is defensible

• Correct interpretation and understanding of scientific papers and writings

This perspective is combined with system-based analysis to create a practical framework for evaluation narratives. The focus is not on theory, but on how these principles are applied in real-world decision-making and high-stakes environments.
